I was searching YouTube for GLBT commercials this one was banned from the USA.

Mickey Monopoly....Is What???
Well, I have to say, that I would disagree with Tinytreasures about it not being Disney Fault. I grew up with Disney as many as you have....and one thing we all pointed out in class was we learned that Disney does have a large amount of stereo-types, racism, and subliminal messages. What caught my attention was the girls who talked about Beauty~n~The Beast. Those subtle subliminal messages affected these girls in misinterpretation of allowing men to us verbal abuse when trying to earn our attention or love.
I have to say that since watching this movie, I see my son at the age of 2 1/2 easily point out the bad guys trying to shooot them, and then point out the "petti-girls." And what's really crazy about it all is he doesn't know the difference between reality and fiction. Or that beauty comes from within. I understand it's my job as a parent later in life to teach and tell him the difference but we set these standards for your children by allowing them to see these movies. By allowing them to make these assumptions then later tell them it was a bunch of sh*t.
These types of problems should be addressed in the begining not when our children are grown. If we can change the "fiction beauty Barbie," proportion size then why is it soooo difficult to strive for non-stero typical movies without racist ideas, and without subliminal messages. It wouldn't hurt if we keyed down these types of problems. Right?
But come on people, Walt Disney is playing monopoly. Main point: MONEY!!! Thats it, just money, which money does talk (LOL). With money comes power. And with power comes privilege. It's evident that they have more priveilege to produce what they please right. We don't have nothing to say? If you wanna see these types of movies great! Don't let me stop you. But when your watching them keep in mind who is the minority group in them. Its quite evident that Disney doesn't care. By watching them we only allow them to be more powerful.
Wow! Are we blindsided or what, by The Wonderful World of Disney. Keep in mind, we help there slogan by just believing, "Its only a world of make believe."
